Week 12: The software factory and what comes next

The lecture treats "the pipeline runs itself" as a claim with a test. You run a small course-written pipeline until it stops, read the evidence each stage leaves, see a change that passes every automatic stage and still breaks the contract, and verify a recorded review claim by claim. The lecture ends with a course review that walks the decision line (accept, narrow, recheck, stop) back through the term.

The second session explains the defense format of week 13 and is a studio on your own final project. Contribution 4 and the final project are due this week.

Start with the notes, then use the second session guide, the self-check and the reading path. The slide source follows the same sequence. The folder factory/ holds the pipeline example; fixtures/ holds the recorded review and its guide.
